| | Global rating : | | Actually we decided to bath there but didnft, we choose to walk like 100 meters further to look at the monkey park and watched them bathing in their own onsen. The comment about this onsen will be just about what we saw from outside.
| Size : | | As we only saw from outside, I donft know exactly the size of the inside baths but they seems standards. What is interesting is the two kashikiri, private baths you have in this ryokan. The outside bath, mixed bath, is big enough for about 10 peoples.
| View : | | Great view from the bath over the river, you can also see some monkeys but they will not join you during the day time, I saw a guy from the ryokan shooting stones at them with a catapult. In fact monkeys can be quite aggressive.
| Modesty : | | Just watch the picture and you understand. Many people visit this region for the monkey park, and they can really see everything from the other side. Sure, you have to be not shy to bath there.
| Area : | | Main spot is the monkey park, and a lot of them. They have their own onsen and you can really stand next to them, very interesting to see what a Japanese monkey looks like.

| | Bath reserved for monkey | | The bath for monkey is located quite far from the visitors' bath, and is much more popular | | | | |
