For this reason, a small wall - about 1.2 meters high - partially hide the view from the bath, prompting the bathers to stand up to enjoy the scenery. | |

| We visited this onsen twice in 2004, the first time in February, the second in October. Between those two dates, the entrance price doubled, reaching a hefty 1500 yens - definitively too expensive! Also, while the spring water is supposed to have a pH of 8.6, the water of the bath only reached 7.4, which could suggest that the spring water is strongly diluted. sanji |
