| | Global rating : | | A complex of onsen located on the grounds of the Sheraton Grande Ocean Resort in the Sea Gaia complex. The Tsukuyomi is the "basic" bath, and offers a good onsen in a comfortable setting; if you want to enjoy the baths that offer a view on the artificial lake, Shingetsu, you will have to pay some extra 2500 yen! And the private baths costs 5000 yen an hour...
| Size : | | For a hotel of that size, the onsen baths are surprisingly smallc There is one inside bath, fine for probably 5-6 persons, and a slightly larger outside bath with an irregular shape - and a roof over it. Other options are a saune with a window to enjoy the scenary and a very small bath with colder water.
| View : | | The inside bath, made of wood, has a rectangular shape and a nice view on the trees surrounding the onsen complex. As a matter of fact, the outside bath has exactly the same view.
| Area : | | A couple of kilometers north of Miyazaki, The Gaia complex offers large hotels, two golf course, one of the largest indoor pool in the world and many other features. No beach - what is rather surprising considering you are a couple of hundreds meters away from the shore...

The rotenburo is surrounded by a wood - but if you want to bath in the onsen with a view on the artificial pond, you will need to pay an extra fee. | | The tower, in the background of the onsen | | View from the top of the Sheraton - the onsen area is on the left | | | | |
