| While this onsen is probably not a good destination itself, it still makes a great stop after a ski day in the area. The Marunuma ski field is just located couple of minutes after the bath, and the place is therefore quite popular at the end of the day - when unfortunately, there is no more sun on this side of the valley. | |

| Just a couple of kilometers from the Marunuma ski area, this onsen is obviously especially busy in winter. In summer, the road linking to Nikko Yumoto in Tochigi-ken is open, a journey that might interest nature-lovers. The magnificent Oze marsh field is not too far by car from this onsen, too...
