Big outside bath with some bench to lay down.

Enjoy the nature and the tranquility. The color of the water turn out to change from yellow to red and brown. There is also a nearby pool - probably intended for children, and only available in summer. Although it can be handful for people traveling with children, the presence of such a pool (a rather ugly one, by the way) is a little disturbing.

Modesty :     
Separate changing room and this bath due to the presence of iron as a high turbidity, even if you loose your towel, it will be impossible to see something.

Area :   
We didn't had so much time to visit the region, arrived there around 16h, bath and leave back from Tokyo. If you want a quiet place to rest from the active life, it is a good place to stay, and as you find yourself in Yamanashi-ken you can still visit some wine producer.

Comment

A pool is situated just under this onsen, and seems to be full of children during summer, think it's really not a good idea to go there during the summer if you want to be quiet. But if you have children, must be a really one, you can stay quiet in the onsen while your children are playing in the pool just next.
