Hello Ball_siu,

Indeed, you do not need to send your credit card details,  although you can be charged if you cancel the room too late or just don't show up. You just arrive at the hotel with your reservation name, they usually do not ask for the reservation number; I still would recommend having a copy of the confirmation email with you in case of problem...
