Hi all,
I'll be traveling in Japan between 15 and 29 May2010 and am starting to draw up a rough outline of an itinerary for the stay.
This trip will begin and end in Tokyo and I've already bought my Japan Railpass vouchers for the trip. At the moment my general idea is to try and see as much of Kansai, Chugoku and Kyushu as is feasible within the timescale, with a preference towards more rural and coastal areas. As I'm just starting the research I'm looking for some ideas of 'must see' places or sites, even those that may not be usually mentioned in the travel guides.
Also I'm looking for any recommendations for reasonably priced Minshuku or hostels that I can consider for the itinerary.
