Hello Marc, i've put your topic here, in the section Travel talks. If you have any kind of question, it's better to ask it here, in this section, than in the guides section.

Anyway, i think you're french, so i will pursue in French. Please send me a message if not, i will edit this message.

http://www.secret-japan.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=510

http://www1.kamakuranet.ne.jp/kamakura/info/accommodation2.html

Le kakiya ryokan:

Le Kaihinso:

http://www.kaihinso.jp/

 :?: Does anyone know of a place to stay within walking distance of the temples in a quiet neighborhood away from noise of the city in Kamakura? We would like a moderately priced place up to $150 per night for a couple. We like Japanese style rooms. I checked out the ryokans suggested but the locations were either in the city or the neighborhood lacked atmosphere.

Hello motsuki,

I merged your message to a topic that was started a couple of days ago, also about lodging in Kamakura.

There are only limited options for ryokan in the heart of the city. Very limited, as a matter of fact.

The most usual accommodations are large hotels, like the Kamakura Prince Hotel or the Kamakura Park Hotel (typical price from 150$/room).

If you check on jalan.net, you will find very limited choice for Kamakura. And no ryokan/minshuku located really in the center of the town. It seems that Enoshima has more options...
