Get ready for the New Year - the most important celebration of the year for Japanese!
Here is the list of the 10 most visited temples / shrines during the three first days of the New Year. The number of expected visitors was calculated by the Japanese Police, so you probably can expect those numbers to be rather accurate. As a matter of fact, two third of the population visit at least one shrine or temple during those three days, so if you want to meet with a huge crowd, this is the good time. Enjoy!
