Hi Guyz,
I'm in Beijing and looking to get to Ise, but the flights out of here are almost as expensive as to the U.S.
My question is this, does anyone have an idea about boats on which I could book passage, horse drawn carts I could ride through Korea or perhaps an anti-matter teleporter of some kind?
Any help would be appreciated.
:) :) :)
Amun

The best resource pour ferries to Japan is probably on the Randy's Favorite Gateways in rural Japan, at this address : http://www.ease.com/~randyj/rjjapanx.htm
The most convenient road for you would probably be from Tientsin (or Tianjin) to Kobe. The cheapest one-way ticket is 22'000 yen, and the journey lasts a little bit more than 48 hours...
Check the link of the company ( http://www.celkobe.co.jp/english/unkou.html ) in English for more details.
Hope this helps,

Hey Sanji,
First let me say thanks again for your help, I took the link button and slapped that thing right into my blog!
(and of course wrote you a little blurbalisciousness)
:)
Also your devotion to Japan is inspiring. :) Your web site this web site and especially the photo album are quite well done.
Doing the math on the ferry issue, it's twice as expensive as a plane ticket...argh!!!
ah well, I suppose Ise will have to wait.
Unless, of course, anyone knows some Buddhist or Shinto monks that could use an English teacher...:)
Thanks again,
Amun |
