About seven minutes walk from the east exit (the main one) of Yotsuya JR station. After the wicket, turn to the left (north), that is towards the Nanboku line. Then cross Sotobori Avenue and take San'ei Street. After a bit of walk you will find the place on your right. The atmosphere is pretty much like that of an izakaya. If you like tongue, I highly recommend this restaurant. If you don't like it, then don't go; because you would put yourself in serious danger of changing your mind about it. My favorite dishes there are the Yudetan and the Tanshichuu. Prices are quite reasonable, between three and four thousand yen is what you should probably expect including the drinks. If you are in a hurry, since it is most of the time crowded, you should phone before you go. |

Japontei in Kojimachi (above Exit 3) has a stylish modern Japanese interior. Wonderful, creative food, and wide selection of sake. Young crowd.
